Before 1998: The history of the Dräxlmaier family
Goggo
and fork
1958 Fritz dan Lisa Dräxlmaier senior set up the first plant. The first order for the company is the production of 50,000 pieces of wiring harness for the Goddomobil. The short waiting period and the uncertainty of the interest in the newly launched car has made the setting up of the company a challenging feat. However hardwork and perseverance of the founder has made the company a success. With the help of houseworkers and fork cutlery, the first wiring harness was produced and sent to Hans Glas GmbH. The first order for the interior was also made, and not long after the door trim for the Goggo was also produced.
