31. July 2024 Around 140 employees took part in the DRÄXLMAIER Group’s blood donation campaign.

Under the motto "Give life, donate blood", the annual blood donation campaign, which the company had organized in cooperation with the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK), took place at the headquarters of the DRÄXLMAIER Group. In an exhibition room converted for this purpose, around 140 employees took the opportunity to donate blood and thus make a valuable contribution to society - 30 employees were first-time donors.

"A very good opportunity to donate blood and help"
It was thanks to the commitment of the company's occupational health management that the blood donation campaign was once again a complete success. Employee Cemil Sahin also took advantage of the opportunity, "because it is important and it helps the community," as he explains. The specialist in plastics application technology has been donating blood regularly for years. "I think the campaign is a very good opportunity to donate blood and thus help," says Sahin.

High participation can save many lives
The blood donations collected thanks to the blood donation campaign will now help to save many lives. "It is nice to see that so many employees are taking part in the blood donation campaign again to help other people. As a family business in particular, it is very important for DRÄXLMAIER to support this commitment," emphasizes HR manager Roland Polte.

Vilsbiburg site manager Dominik Fürst, who is also responsible for the company's occupational health management, also thanked the employees and emphasized: "The DRÄXLMAIER colleagues involved in the organization and the volunteers from the BRK make it possible for so many employees to donate blood with their commitment."
