German Ambassador Petra Drexler visited DRÄXLMAIER

The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Petra Drexler, visited the DRӒXLMAIER factory in Kavadarci, which as a German investment, has been successfully operating in the country for more than 10 years. The ambassador got acquainted with the principles and values ​​on which the company's operations are based, and through an introductory presentation she got acquainted with the most important moments of the company's foundation, as well as with current and future strategic projects.

Ambassador Drexler was welcomed by the management of DRӒXLMAIER Macedonia and during the tour of the factory led by the General Manager Lukas Muehringer, she got a complete picture of the production activities where products intended for the premium segment in the automotive industry are produced.

"We are especially glad that we had the opportunity to welcome Ambassador Drexler to our factory in Kavadarci. At the meeting, we discuss the most important aspects for our company with focus on our employees, and she also gained knowledge about future projects, perspectives and plans," Muehringer said.

Drexler was introduced to numerous regional and community support projects initiated and implemented by DRӒXLMAIER with the full support of the company's employees. The ambassador was particularly interested in talking with the students who attend practical classes according to the German model of dual professional education, which is realized in the specialized classroom within the factory.

"I gained an excellent impression of the overall organization of DRӒXLMAIER in Macedonia. For a company that is a foreign investment, it is especially significant that it contributes to the development of the economy through various projects and forms of cooperation, thereby providing support for the region and the community where it operates. The future, of course, is in the hands of young people. I am glad that DRӒXLMAIER recognizes this and through the successful implementation of the German model of dual professional education creates personnel that are relevant for the respective industry needs", says Ambassador Drexler.

This is the first visit of the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the country after taking office in April this year.
