Florian, Mobility Services
"We try to make in-service mobility as sustainable as possible."
In which area do you work at DRÄXLMAIER? What do you do in your job?
I am responsible for international projects, systems and processes at Mobility Services. I work closely with the relevant functions at our locations in different countries.
How does your role relate to the issue of sustainability?
We try to make business mobility as sustainable as possible. Whether it's a transfer for people or charging the company vehicles. For new purchases, we try to order purely electrically powered vehicles.
To what extent does your work contribute to the sustainability goals of the DRÄXLMAIER Group?
Sustainability is a big part of our planning. We focus it for all decisions.
How does it feel to be part of this transformation?
It's a great feeling! Everyone has to decide how to view the issue of sustainability. But with a logical way of thinking, everyone actually has to come to the conclusion that every gram of CO2e that is not emitted creates a good feeling.
Where do you see your topic in the future?
Sustainability is an important topic and will be even more relevant in the future. The term "sustainability" is much bigger than CO2e or electricity generation and consumption.
What does sustainability mean to you personally?
Sustainability also means repairing everyday items and not throwing them away and buying new ones. We should all rethink our consumer behavior and adapt it for ourselves.
How relevant do you think the topic of sustainability is?
Very relevant and it will become even more important in the future.
How does sustainability influence you outside of work?
I try to repair items and not just replace them. I try to avoid unnecessary trips or use an e-bike. As much as possible, I try to consume food from local producers and farmers or grow and harvest it myself.
