Kristin has been part of the DRÄXLMAIER family since June 2013. Starting as a site assistant at the Leipzig interior plant, she took her chance to do something new and has been working as a controller for the new battery plant since 2020.
New job
"In the new job, I can use my knowledge from my studies and learn a lot of new things at the same time," explains Kristin. The six years as assistant to the site manager help her a lot in her new job. "I already know certain processes and know, for example, how an order is processed internally or how the cost structure at DRÄXLMAIER is set up. That helps, because at the same time there are many new programmes and processes in Controlling that I am getting to know," she emphasises.
"You can bring in your own ideas"
For Kristin, jumping into the deep end is a great opportunity to do something completely different within the same company. "The nice thing about DRÄXLMAIER is that you can fulfil yourself and bring in your own ideas," she explains. Being involved in the creation of a new plant is an additional motivation for her. "Everything is currently under construction, you can feel the tingling sensation and it's fun."
