19 skilled employees celebrate the start of their professional lives
19 trainees from the Vilsbiburg, Landau an der Isar and Böblingen locations have completed their training in one of seven different professions. The young specialists celebrated this success together with their trainers, relatives and friends.
"A milestone in life"
Barbara Gerber, responsible for international training, praised the trainees' achievements in her speech and at the same time emphasized the importance of vocational training: "A solid education is not only a milestone in the life of every individual, but also of great importance for society and for our company. It lays the foundation for personal and professional development and makes a significant contribution to economic and social stability." Their training has given the young women and men a solid foundation, said the training manager. "You now have the opportunity to build on this and realize your dreams and goals, be it in your professional life, in your private life or in shaping your life," emphasized Gerber.
Michael Malec, responsible for international human resources management at the premium supplier, also congratulated the graduates and emphasized: "With their training in the DRÄXLMAIER Group, our former trainees have laid the foundation for their personal professional future. Now they can continue on their path as newly qualified skilled workers in a reliable and innovative corporate family and, in the long term, develop into experts, project managers or managers." Deputy Works Council Chairman Martin Boxhammer also paid tribute to the skilled workers of tomorrow in his speech. At the same time, he advised them to always remain open and curious. "It is important to constantly continue your training in order not to be left behind," said Boxhammer. Two graduates look back Valentin Frank, technical product designer, and Lucas Beck, electronics engineer for devices and systems, emphasized how happy the graduates are about their graduation. "Today is a special day. This is a moment that we can all be proud of," said Valentin Frank. At the same time, the two graduating speakers looked back on the years of training in their joint speech. They emphasized how much the different apprenticeships have in common - for example, the challenging weeks of exam preparation or mastering complex tasks. As a group, they always stuck together and supported each other. "If there was one thing that was our strength, it was making the best of problems with humor and team spirit," said Lucas Beck.
Among the best in their year
The hard work and great commitment of the DRÄXLMAIER apprentices is often expressed in very good results. Eight of the 19 graduates have an average grade of 1 in their vocational school. Christina Stieglitz and Manuel Englbrecht also achieved an average grade of 1 in their Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Emanuel Ungurean and Lucas Beck also received the State Prize from the governments of Lower Bavaria and Upper Bavaria for their excellent vocational school graduation.
