The DRÄXLMAIER Group works council regularly organizes excursions for the workforce. All employees who take part pay a flat-rate travel contribution for each excursion. In coordination with the company, a sum of 1,000 euros that was collected in this way on the last excursions will not be offset against the travel costs, but will instead go in full to a charitable organization: Robin Hood e.V. in Frontenhausen.
“Robin Hood e.V. makes a valuable contribution to the people here in the region. We are pleased that we can once again donate the proceeds from company outings to a social institution on behalf of the employees,” said works council chairman Rudi Lang.

Help for families with seriously ill children in Lower Bavaria
The association supports seriously ill children and their families throughout Lower Bavaria and, for example, helps where health insurance companies do not pay or only cover part of the costs. This is often the case with disability-friendly modifications to the home or car, with aids and with alternative therapies, such as horseback riding therapy. But the association also supports families financially with numerous other important purchases.
The Robin Hood e.V. is financed through donations, cake sales and its “Robin Hood shop”. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to those in need; all helpers work on a voluntary basis.
