From electrical systems
to instrument panels

DRÄXLMAIER produced door panels for the Goggomobil. Over time, additional interior products were added, including the instrument panel and gearshift lever. DRÄXLMAIER had multiplied its product range many times over within the shortest possible time.

In 1960, the company installed the first lines for high-frequency welding of door panels. At the same time, vacuum forming of thermoplastic films was introduced for manufacturing instrument panels.

DRÄXLMAIER built its own company building at Brückenstrasse in Vilsbiburg. It was eventually occupied in 1964.

DRÄXLMAIER manufactured this door for the Jaguar XF. It went into series production in 2007.

DRÄXLMAIER already delivered the complete interior for the Porsche Panamera in 2006. This door is from the year 2009.

DRÄXLMAIER went into series production with this door for the BMW Z4. The model was produced until 2016.

With its entry into the premium interior market, DRÄXLMAIER began production of door panels. First just for BMW, later for other automobile manufactures as well, such as Audi, Daimler or Porsche.

This is the door of the Audi A2 from 2000, which at that time was the lightest door in the world, and thus DRÄXLMAIER was already ahead of its time and the focus on sustainability.
