On World Health Day on April 7, Alexandra Schneider and Christina Weinmann from the Occupational Medicine team answer questions about occupational health management and ergonomics in the workplace:
Why is occupational health management important in the company?
Alexandra: By improving working conditions and the life quality at the workplace, health and motivation of employees are sustainably supported. This increases productivity as well as product and service quality in the company.
Which role play #ergonomics regarding the health of employees in the company?
Christina: Ergonomics create a workplace that fits people and their work. A healthy and ergonomic working environment makes a valuable contribution to employee productivity and satisfaction.
Which goals are you pursuing with occupational health management and ergonomics coaching?
Christina: The goal is to continue to make employees more aware of their work environment, focus on the needs of the individual, and minimize physical discomfort in the workplace in the long term.
Alexandra: We are pursuing a sustainable, long-term and holistic implementation of health-supporting measures and consolidated structures as part of occupational health management.
