DRÄXLMAIER is one of the world's best employers

06. December 2021 Lower Bavarian automotive supplier was recognized by Forbes magazine.

Only 750 companies worldwide were able to secure a place on Forbes magazine's list of the best, including 36 companies from the automotive sector. DRÄXLMAIER is ranked 28th in the automotive sector, which includes OEMs and suppliers, well ahead of some of its competitors, and is one of only seven German companies in the sector to have been honored. With companies like BMW, Apple or Siemens DRÄXLMAIER is therefore in best company in the Forbes ranking.

For DRÄXLMAIER, the award is an important international employer label and at the same time a confirmation that the DRÄXLMAIER Group with its more than 60 locations in over 20 countries is perceived as a relevant and attractive employer worldwide. For the best list, Forbes magazine in cooperation with Statista anonymously asked 150,000 employees from 58 countries whether they would recommend their company as an employer to friends or close acquaintances. At the same time, the respondents were also asked to rate competitors from the respective industry. The survey paid particular attention to aspects such as image, talent development, equality and social responsibility.

Valued worldwide
Only those who achieved top scores in all categories qualified for the best list. "The 'World's Best Employer' award shows that we are attractive as an employer to both our employees and applicants. Now we have to maintain and expand our pioneering role, especially with regard to the establishment of future-oriented work and collaboration models, as well as in terms of further development opportunities within the company", says CHRO Roland Polte. Investments made by the DRÄXLMAIER Group such as the strong training model, which has been established worldwide based on the German model and will continue to be expanded in a targeted manner, contribute to this. "For us, talent development means focused support from the very beginning. Our apprentices learn on the latest equipment, receive language courses, and are supported in their further training, whether to become master craftsmen, specialists, or through university studies", says Barbara Gerber, who is responsible for global training at DRÄXLMAIER.

Constant improvement
However, the award is no reason for DRÄXLMAIER to rest on its laurels. Rather, it is constantly optimizing its human resources strategy – also in order to attract employees with the competencies and skills needed for the shift toward electromobility. "The job market is booming and skilled workers are consciously choosing an attractive, responsible employer that offers prospects. DRÄXLMAIER offers many exciting positions and the opportunity to develop globally if interested. In the future, we will invest even more in identifying internal potential even faster and in a more targeted manner and in developing this potential into target positions – from production to management. This is the plan to ensure that DRÄXLMAIER stays ahead of the game in the future", affirms Diana Eid, responsible for HR Strategy & Corporate Functions at DRÄXLMAIER.
