Decades of commitment

14. March 2024 The DRÄXLMAIER Group honors over 340 employees at the Vilsbiburg site for their long-standing loyalty to the company.

The success of the DRÄXLMAIER Group as a partner of premium automobile manufacturers over decades is based above all on the great commitment of its employees. As part of anniversary celebrations, management thanks employees for their long-standing loyalty and commitment over the past ten, 15, 25, 35, 40 and 45 years.

Recognition for more than 340 employees celebrating anniversaries
Company boss Fritz Dräxlmaier expressed his appreciation for the commitment of the more than 340 employees celebrating anniversaries: “In the past years and decades, you have not only accepted the challenges and tasks, but also carried them out with joy. With this joy and the courage to try new things, you have made a decisive contribution to our success over the years and our ability to achieve an admirable position in the market. In doing so, you have also shaped the unmistakable character of DRÄXLMAIER.”

As a sign of their recognition, Fritz Dräxlmaier and HR manager Roland Polte presented the employees celebrating their anniversary with a certificate, medals and pins. Among the 344 honorees this year are 124 employees celebrating their 25th anniversary and 31 employees with 35 years of service. Management honored eleven employees for 40 years of loyalty to the company with the large DRÄXLMAIER platinum medal. Two employees, Gundelinde Steckermeier and Renate Steer, congratulated Fritz Dräxlmaier and Roland Polte on 45 years of loyalty to the company with a certificate, a bouquet of flowers and a gift.

Employees celebrating their anniversary look back: “My work was always varied”
Gundelinde Steckermeier started in production in September 1978, where she got to know a wide variety of areas over the years. She later moved into controlling before finally starting in the company's purchasing department in 2011. It is precisely this variety that has always made the work interesting for Gundelinde Steckermeier. "I am always open to new things," says the 61-year-old, who describes herself as a real "DRÄXLMAIER child." In addition to the very diverse activities, Gundelinde Steckermeier particularly appreciates the solidarity among her colleagues.

Renate Steer has worked in purchasing for 45 years. To this day, she is fascinated by witnessing the company's entire growth: "My work has always been varied. There have always been and continue to be new tasks and challenges." The constant exchange among colleagues and the contact with suppliers has also always given Renate Steer a lot of pleasure. "The environment has always been right too: the colleagues, the superiors, the working conditions and of course the stability of the company," says the anniversary celebrant.
