Marketing and Corporate Communications functions of the Dräxlmaier Group joined under new manager

05. July 2013 Vilsbiburg, July 5, 2013. – Dr. Tobias Nickel has assumed the leadership of the Marketing and Corporate Communications functions for the Dräxlmaier Group, effective July 1, 2013. The automotive supplier’s rapid growth over the past few years has brought about the need for adjustment in the communications area. With this new function, the previously separate departments will be combined and integrated communication will be guided by one person in the future.

    Brief biography of Dr. Tobias Nickel:
    After studying psychology and receiving a doctorate degree, Dr. Nickel entered a trainee program with the BMW Group where he eventually took on a variety of management assignments. Among other things, he led the corporate communications area for the BMW Group Canada, managed the Motorsport and Technological Communications Department for the BMW Group, headed up recruiting for the BMW Group worldwide and was manager of Marketing Communications for BMW Germany.
     


    In his new function, Dr. Nickel is Vice President of Marketing & Communication of the Dräxlmaier Group. Pia-Maria Görner will continue to be the company spokesperson and initial contact for press and media representatives.
